Tiffany & Michael’s styled Seattle boat elopement on The Joahna K Yacht was a special experience. It’s not every day that I get to style a vintage yacht! I was so excited to help T & M plan their intimate JoAhna K Yacht elopement, and now I get to share it with you guys.
Both T & M got ready on the yacht so that we could keep everything in one place. There were no guests for their elopement - they wanted to keep it just the two of them! Sometimes couples can feel guilty for keeping their elopement intimate, or friends and family can make them feel bad for it. But the truth is, if that’s what you and your partner want, that’s all that matters! Tiffany and Jordan definitely didn't regret their decision to make their day just about the two of them.
After they got ready, we did a quick first look on the boat. Tiffany kept her look very minimalistic with an elegant, white gown and the prettiest updo that suited her perfectly. After that, we moved right along to their ceremony!
For the overall theme of their elopement, I really wanted to complement the fact that we were going to be on the water. Their color scheme was very simple; blues, hints of warm tones, and cream. And not gonna lie, the colors looked SO good, especially the way the sun was hitting everything on the yacht! We set up a little table for them to enjoy a post-elopement celebration between the two of them.
After they exchanged their vows, it was time to pop a bottle of champagne! I love when couples have a fun moment together right after declaring their love to each other. And popping a bottle was the perfect way to do that.
Tiffany and Michael are a perfect example of a couple who really thought about what they wanted their wedding to look like and ran with it. They had no regrets, and I encourage every single couple to follow their hearts, just like they did!
