Why should I hire an event planner?
I like to express to my clients that your wedding planner is your personal go to expert on all thing’s wedding! Have a question about colors? Don’t know what type of candle holders go best with your linen? Should you really add those wine barrels at the end of your ceremony aisle? Unsure if the vendor you're talking with is charging you the right price for services? Your wedding planner will give you all the answers you need to make a decision. You do not have to read color scheme articles for endless hours, you do not have to research every linen company in your vicinity, that is what I am here for.
One of the biggest reasons? I will save you money! I have previously worked in sales at a wedding venue and have learned tips and tricks on how to negotiate prices. I am all about those discounts and saving you money! Whether it is a micro wedding with 30 guests or 200, between researching/booking vendors, RSVPs, and managing your budget, a wedding planner will be your saving grace.
Do you offer destination weddings?
I do not at this time.
What separates you from other wedding planners?
I pride myself in treating your event as if it is my own! This is what I do, love, and enjoy every day. Unlike larger planning services, I can give you one on one service the whole way through planning and provide exceptional service on the special day. Creating a one-of-a-kind event is always important, however, the most valuable aspect I can do for you is to make the planning process FUN! I take care of the planning, budgeting, and design so you can focus on the exciting and important parts, like cake tasting and your dress shopping! I really enjoy the process of getting to know you and turning that into a customized event.
As well, when vendors offer me discounts I always pass them along to my clients. I do not keep the money for myself. This means you will never have to worry about me “forcing” you to use a particular vendor!
Do you take on more than one wedding per day?
Absolutely not, not even the same week:) I take a limited amount of weddings during the year so I can offer a truly personalized experience for clients. This is another thing that sets me apart from other wedding planners. While researching you will find that many wedding planners will take on more than one wedding per weekend. I do not. This allows me to only focus on you, not another couple, in the days leading up to your special day!
What forms of payment do you accept and do you offer payment plans?
I currently use Honeybook for client payments. I do require a non refundable retainer at the time of signing my contract. If needed, we can work out a payment schedule that is due on the 1st day of every month. The full balance is due 20 days prior to the wedding date.
Do you travel?
Yes, I do! I love to travel to different parts of Washington State. Any weddings outside of Kitsap County includes a $200 non refundable travel fee.
